אל EL

The name EL, which in English gets translated as GOD, is a picture of how GOD is our Chief א Shepherd ל. Father has the heart of a shepherd - HE desires to feed and protect us, and to have us live on His land (inherit the earth) when YASHUA comes. 1 Peter 5:4 describes the name EL according to the letters. It says: "And when the Chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away."

When GOD had Moses write Genesis, the Name HE used for Himself was ELOHIM. By the letters, ELOHIM means Chief א Shepherd ל of Men ה, Maker י of the Waters מ. ELOHIM is His creation Name. When referring to GOD, ELOHIM is a singular Name. In some places in the Bible, elohim is not a name at all, but a plural word used to describe the many false gods men have taken upon themselves. These so-called gods aren’t really gods - they are demons and idols as the Scriptures teach. But, since men call them their gods, so does the Bible.
