Dawson: Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. Now in Hebrew the words “He rested” is one word and that word is Shabbat. So Shabbat literally means “He rested”.

Carlos: So, the Sabbath is Shabbat.

Dawson: Shabbat, yes.

Carlos: And rest.

Dawson: Yeah. You want to take a look at the letters?

Carlos: Let’s go to the board.

Dawson: Let’s go.

Carlos: Amen. Okay, so here we are at the board.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: And Dawson is going to give us the letters.

Dawson: Yes, so we’re going to take a look at the Hebrew word “shub,” and the first letter is the letter shin. Now shin is a picture of teeth, and as your teeth are in front of your face, the letter shin is used in Hebrew words to mean front and face. And the next letter in the word shub is beyt, which is a picture of the house. And beyt is used in Hebrew words to mean house and in, inside, with. So, this word shub by the letters.

Carlos: Face home, return.

Dawson: Yes. Yeah. Shub is translated into English as return. So, if you need to get back home, the first thing you need to do is face home and head that way. It’s also used to mean repent. So, if you’re walking on the way and you get sidetracked, you start going in the wrong direction, you need to first face Father’s house and get back on track. So return and repent. Shub.

Carlos: Amen. Two different words.

Dawson: Yeah. So, this is the root word for Shabbat, and the word Shabbat is just the word shub with the letter tav at the end.

Carlos: Now these over here means …

Dawson: … to rest. Yeah, so it’s the word shub with the tav at the end. Tav is used to mean mark and to mean sign. So as a sign that you have returned and you have repented, you are now at rest. You are in shabbat.

Carlos: Shabbat.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: And in shalom.

Dawson: Yes, absolutely.

Carlos: Shabbat Shalom, everybody.

Dawson: Shabbat shalom, everybody.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yes, amen.

Carlos: That’s a pretty good way of explaining it.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: Amen?

Dawson: Yeah. So, one of the reasons that I think Father established the concept of rest at the very beginning of His creation on day seven of our history is He knew that the curse was coming very, very soon.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: When we read about the curse in the fall of man and the curse that comes as a result of that in Genesis chapter 3, we are first introduced to the Hebrew words atsab and etseb, which in the ancient paleo letters are spelled exactly the same. So, we’re going to take a look at what this word means since it’s such an essential part of the curse and then we’re going to come back to the Sabbath because the Sabbath has something to do with the reversal of the curse. So, the word atsab and the word etseb, they’re both spelled ayin, tsade, beyt.

So, this is the first letter, ayin, which is a picture of the eye, and it’s used in Hebrew words to mean to know, to see, to experience. And the next letter, the tsade, is a picture of a man lying down. We’ll talk about the meaning in just a second. And then the letter beyt is the picture of the house. And we see all throughout the creation story that the letter beyt is used as a symbol for Father’s entire creation that He made. We talked about that when we studied the word ereb.

Carlos: Ereb.

Dawson: And when we talked about the word tov, so the beyt, Father’s house, the entire creation that He had. And unfortunately, as a result of man’s sin and the curse, we have to know and experience being laid low, so humbleness in Father’s creation.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yeah, that’s atsab.

Carlos: You will know, you will know, humbleness in this creation because there is a curse on it.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yeah. So, let’s talk about three different aspects of the curse and then we’ll get, we’ll bring it back to the Sabbath.

Carlos: Okay, so we see – we have three things that happen.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: It changed the course of history in Adam’s walk with Father.

Dawson: Yeah, probably more than three, but there’s three that we want to focus on today that have to do with the word atsab and that are related, as you’ll see down the line, to the Sabbath.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: The first one would be that part of the curse is Father says that there’s going to be enmity, which is hostility, between the seed of the serpent and the seed of women.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yeah, and which is a match for something that we find in the Book of Enoch and also something that we can kind of see throughout the entire New Testament and that we ourselves, most of us have experienced in some way, which is that there are these things called demons.

Carlos: Oh, yes.

Dawson: Enoch actually describes what the demons are going to do while they’re here among men and before he describes that, I should say that in Genesis 6 and in the book of Enoch it describes the angels coming down and mixing with women and producing a type of offspring that Father did not authorize.

Carlos: Not authorized personnel. Out.

Dawson: Yeah, these are what are called the Nephilim aka the giants in the Bible.

Carlos: Amen. And then their offspring were called Elioud.

Dawson: The Elioud.

Carlos: You can pronounce them how you like

Dawson: Yeah. All together, we generally just refer to them as Nephilim, whatever generations of these things were.

Carlos: But there were two distinct types.

Dawson: Yeah. And Father destroyed them all before the flood. He destroyed their flesh. But what He decided at the time was to destroy their flesh, but not to destroy their spirits. And Enoch tells us that their spirits turn into evil spirits. And those are what we know as demons today.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: At the time Father destroyed the flesh of the Nephilim and said that they’re going to be evil spirits, He also decided that their judgment wouldn’t come until the very last day.

Carlos: Yes, yeah, however, he gave them no rest. There is no rest for the wicked.

Dawson: Right.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: There’s a scripture that tells us about an encounter that Yeshua had with a demon and the demon comes to him and says, “What are you doing, Son of God? Are you here to torment us before the time?” which is a reference back to what Enoch says is that they do all of these things that I’m about to explain without incurring judgment, until the last day, until Judgment Day.

So, here’s what Enoch says that they’ll do. The giants who are produced from the spirits and flesh shall be called evil spirits upon the earth, and on the earth shall be their dwelling. And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble. They take no food, but nevertheless hunger and thirst, and cause offenses. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.

So, to me, these verses are describing the ongoing hostility that Father talked about in the curse of Genesis 3.

Carlos: Is this part of the enmity?

Dawson: I believe so, yeah.

Carlos: Amen?

Dawson: Yeah, I think so. So just a word about, in case, you know, anytime you bring up demons, people get a little worried.

Carlos: Well, is there time for a little testimony?

Dawson: Yes, that would be great. Yeah.

Carlos: So, for those of you who minister, if you’re moving in the Spirit and if He’s actually moving through you, you’re going to see a lot of resistance.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: So, at one time I was ministering at this place called House on the Hill and Father told us ahead of time that demonics were coming. We’re going to meet demonics. Amen. And the first thing Dawson said was, “I ain’t going.” The Spirit hit me and I prophesied that yes, you’re going. To where she goes, “There’s no way I’m going.” And then the Spirit hit me again and then it goes, not only are you going, but you’re actually going to grab the feet of the person who’s screaming with the demon on the floor. You’re actually going to go down and grab their feet and get pretty beat up for doing it, to which Dawson said, “No way.”

Well anyway, sure enough, two weeks later they call that they’re bringing us – I don’t want to say exactly because it gives away too much, two people and they’re supposed to have demons, and Father told me two. And when we got to the fellowship, it was double-crowded. It was packed out.

Dawson: Showtime.

Carlos: Showtime. I went, well, no need to play around. I go, “Bring them up.”

Dawson: Well, let me just add one point. Part of the reason that it was packed is because these demon-possessed people were kind of well-known in the church circles because they had already – they had pastors who had tried to get rid of these demons and didn’t do so well. Yeah.

Carlos: Yeah. They both had an eye gouged out and their faces really tore up. And they had made it against the church rules to have any kind of exorcisms because of the cost.

Dawson: Liability and stuff.

Carlos: Liability. So, they said no more exorcisms. However, they asked me because I was not a church member.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: So, they asked me to come and help and they tore off two faces. So we go, that’s exciting, but we have the Spirit of the Lord. This would be nothing but peace doing this.

Dawson: Right.

Carlos: So, we went there and sure enough, the first one I said, the first one – there’s two. So, where’s the first? Then one got up and started walking toward me and they were growling like making noises, remember? And the Father said, “There’s no demon in that one.” So I go, “There’s no demon in you.” I go, “You’re pretending.” And then they got worse. They got much louder like showing teeth and I went, “Quiet, sit down,” and they go, “Okay,” just like that, right? Okay and took off and hi, Lucky.

Dawson: Hi, Lucky.

Carlos: Lucky’s interested.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: And so that was the first one was fake and then the second one came up and sure enough it started but that was real. Anyway, Father had – He gives us the authority to cast them out and out they went and that was too easy. And I go and…

Dawson: Can we describe just a little bit?

Carlos: No, no, no, wait, wait, wait.

Dawson: Okay.

Carlos: And then Dawson came up and said, “You said there was two.” I go, “There is two. The other one hasn’t been found yet. Hang on.”

Dawson: Oh, okay. Okay.

Carlos: A little while later, we saw the one that tore off faces. Wow.

Dawson: Nails so long that they were curving.

Carlos: Yeah, they’re really long nails that came like this, strong, and it came right up to me, put it right up to my eyes. And people started running.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: And everybody was running. And I asked Father what did I do because this person had pinned me to the wall with their elbows like this and their claws up to the face. And I was looking around just ignoring. I go, “Father, what do I do here?” He goes command them to fall. So, command, I said, “Fall in the name of Yeshua.” It fell straight down. At that point, Dawson jumped and grabbed the feet to try to – so that they wouldn’t hurt themselves.

Dawson: Well, I thought she was going to hurt somebody else. This was probably the strongest woman I’ve ever seen in my life. I mean like muscles, like solid muscle, zero fat.

Carlos: Oh, yeah, amazing specimen.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Yeah, biggest nails too.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: And it was demonics. And then Father told me to command the demon to go out and go into the earth. I go, “Okay, go into the earth. I command you.” And at that point, at that point, I go, “Now what I do, Father?” He goes, “Get her some water.” So I go, “Get her some water, it’s over.” And I stepped out of the way and as I was leaving, people were grabbing my shirt. Come back. No, she’s not done. She’s coming back. I go, “No, no, just get her water. Father said it.” As soon as they brought her water, it was over and that’s demonics and I don’t believe you run across demons unless you’re ministering.

Dawson: Okay.

Carlos: If you’re ministering and you’re moving in the Spirit, you’re going to meet a demonic person or Simon the Sorcerer or something. And He allows us so that you learn and you’ll be a witness in the next life. It’s not something that we boast in. Like Yeshua says, you’re all boasting that demons listen to you but better that your name is written in the Book of Life. That’s what confirms that your name is in the Book of Life, right?

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen, at least we’re there.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: We’ve had our exposure to demonics.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: Amen. And it was – I must say it was no big deal.

Dawson: Yeah. You know.

Carlos: So, stay prayed up and stay fasted up and stay in God’s Word and there’s nothing to worry about.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Absolutely.

Carlos: So that’s the part of the enmity.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: Amen. Now for those who could bear it, that’s one of our testimonies. We have many.

Dawson: Yeah, we do.

Carlos: Amen. Wow. Yeah, tore out faces.

Dawson: Yeah. That’s the only time in my life that I’ve ever seen people run backwards up the stairs.

Carlos: I saw people tearing after – breaking their nails trying to go through a concrete wall and trying to run because they were trapped.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: I haven’t seen such uh horror.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Goes to show you their faith lacketh.Amen. So be strong in Yeshua, the power that He gives you.

Dawson: Amen. So, getting back to the three things about the curse that we wanted to talk about that was number one is the hostility between demons and mankind.

Carlos: And that’s what our forefather, Hanuk, speaks of.

Dawson: Yes. So also in Genesis 3, Father lets us know that women would experience atsab. So again, atsab. We talked about what it meant by the letters. So, to know like humbleness in Father’s creation, the way this word atsab and also etseb and the derivative word itstsabon, the way they’re translated into English is grief and sorrow and painful labor.

Carlos: Ayin, knowledge.

Dawson: Knowledge. Experience.

Carlos: Know that you will, you will be. You will be lowered.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: You know, you’ll be afflicted.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: You know, and Father has sealed it in His house. He’s keeping it. You’re going to have this until He releases you.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: So, the way women experience atsab as a result of the curse is through childbirth. It is painful labor.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Also, men would experience atsab and that would be through the curse that Father put on the earth. So instead of everything, if you were hungry, you just go and you pick an apple and the apple probably reappears in three seconds. Now it’s through the sweat of your brow and it’s through itstsabon, through painful labor and sorrow that men will eat. That’s the curse.

Carlos: Yeah, it’s rough. Amen.

Dawson: Yeah, but the point that I wanted to make here is that before any of these things, any of these curses, Father established the concept of rest, of Shabbat, and He wants us to know Him as the Creator who is able to give rest from everything.

Carlos: Now Adam, he did something wrong. He went straight to the tree that he shouldn’t have and he had dinner with nachash.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: Forget it. Dinner with a snake. No, no, no. So, he needed salvation. So, He had worked out a method to return even before. Amen.

Dawson: Yeah, for sure. He established a way right at the very beginning.

Carlos: Ha derek,

Dawson: Ha derek, yeah. We talked about that in one of our Generations of the World episodes. So, the Sabbath was given to us as a weekly reminder that although we have to know and experience the sorrow and grief and humbleness in His creation, that He is able to take it away whenever He wants and for whoever He wants. And the example that we’re given of this is in the wilderness when he delivers Israel out of Egypt. And they’re in the wilderness and He tells them about the Sabbath and He says, you know, day six, I’m going to give you extra food. And that’s because on day seven, you get to stay home and you get to rest.

Carlos: The Shabbat.

Dawson: Yes, so no painful labor on Shabbat as a result of the curse on the ground. Yeshua says, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.” So, Shabbat and the millennium, which is coming very soon, we believe, is a type of Sabbath rest. And during that Sabbath rest that’s coming, all of these curses that we just talked about are going to be lifted. And we can read about that all throughout the Scriptures, but I wanted to kind of share what Enoch has to say about it because a lot of people don’t read Enoch.

Carlos: Amen. Now if you’re alive, Hanuk, Enoch, is your forefather.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: It doesn’t matter what race, what color, what language, what ethnicity. He’s in our line and he is your forefather, Hanuk and he prayed for you, for just such a day as this.

Dawson: Yes, he prayed for us, our generation living in the days. He prayed for the generation who would live to see the day of judgment that’s coming very soon.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: And he talked about what’s going to happen during the judgment and what’s coming after. And what’s coming after is, Father is going to transform the ground, is what Enoch says. And He’s going to make it into a blessing. He’s going to make it so that the vines of the earth, the olives and everything it produces, like way more than it does now. So, He gets rid of the itstsabon, he gets rid of the painful labor.

Carlos: Now our Father’s children, all the b’banim, for you, there is no curse. For you, there is no punishment.

Dawson: Yeah, we are in His rest now.

Carlos: You are in His rest at this time and you ask Him to help you through all things. And you can do all things through Yeshua, that chazaq, strengthens you.

Dawson: Chazaq, yeah.

Carlos: Chazaq, strengthens you.

Dawson: Yeah. so, in the days to come, we’ve got the removal of the curse from the ground that was put in for man’s sake. So that painful labor that man has to experience is gone. Yeah, we’ve got the end of the hostility between the demons and mankind because Father is going to destroy them. Their day of judgment is coming and they’re not coming with us to millennium. So, all of that is going to end. That curse is over. And also, the curse on women is going to be lifted because Enoch talks about the righteous giving birth to – let’s see. We’ll live to have thousands of children.

Carlos: Wow.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Amen.

Carlos: No curse.

Dawson: No more curse. Shabbat, he’s going to give us rest just like He showed from the very beginning.

Carlos: Yeah, no. The ground will give its fruit. You’ll have children without pain. There’s no more enmity because the enemy is locked up and no longer persecuting us before Father, trying to say who we are. And no more demon action or fallen angels. Forget it.

Dawson: Amen.

Carlos: Praise the Lord. Back to how Father made things. As it was the beginning, it will be in the end.

Dawson: Yeah. That’s it for Creation Week, everybody. If you’re someone who likes to read, there is a free download for you on our website. It’s called “The Hebrew of Creation”. And in it, you will find everything that we’ve discussed in our Creation Week videos, including all of the Hebrew words that we’ve studied. Words such as ereb, boqer, shamayim, tohu bohu, shabbat and much more.

Carlos: Father’s language is tamah.

Dawson: Yeah, it leaves you in wonder. Yeah.

Carlos: It’s amazing. It’s beautiful. Tamah. That’s a good word to learn from Father. If you want to learn Hebrew remember this one, Tamah.

Dawson: Tamah, to be in wonder.

Carlos: To be in wonder.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: We remind you if those of you who are sick, and need prayer, just send us a “Need prayer.” We don’t have to know what it is and we pray for you. We have a prayer warrior for us.

Dawson: Lisa.

Carlos: Lisa prays for everybody. And Father hears her prayers.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: So, if you need healing, if you’re in a lot of stress, financial problems, leave a request and Father hears her prayer. We would not waste your time with just because we want to pray. We have someone that the Father hears. Amen.

Dawson: Yeah, she’s got a – that’s her ministry. That’s her gift that Fathergave her.

Carlos: Amen. So, we got a real prayer warrior.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen. So, peace unto you and all who, all who love Father.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: We remind you, you may or may not understand it all, but thank God your salvation is based that Yeshua loves you and He found you and He put you together. He’s going to guide you through everything.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Amen.

Carlos: And we do this because we love Father.

Dawson: Yeah. So, shalom everybody.

Carlos: Shalom shabbat.

Dawson: Shabbat shalom and shalom unto Jerusalem.

Carlos: Amen. Shalom unto Jerusalem.
