Carlos: So, this is episode two, creation days two through four.

Dawson: Last time around, we talked about creation day one when Elohim, the Chief Shepherd of men who made the waters, created a mass of waters, which contained the elements of heaven and earth. On day two, Father separated those waters and he created something called a firmament to divide them.

The Hebrew word for firmament is raqia and it comes from the root word raqa. Raqa means to stretch out. So the raqia is something that was stretched out. This stretched out space that Father made to divide the waters is what we know of today as space, but without any sun or moon or stars yet on day two.

It’s written that God called this stretched out space “shamayim,” the heavens, and the heavens will be our focus today. So, we’re going to skip over day three when Father made the dry ground appear and he made plants and trees and gathered the seas and we’re going to pick up our discussion with day four.

There’s something that Father wants you to know about the heavens and about the lights that he made as a sign for us. You’ll see what I mean when we take a look at the original Hebrew.

Carlos: So day four, and God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament,” in the raqia of the heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs or tavs, for signs and for seasons and for days and years and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth.

Dawson: Yes. So, this is Father creating the sun, the moon, the stars, the planets, the galaxies.

Carlos: And they’re to be a light unto earth.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Now something interesting about that because we’re going to talk about how the heavens are a parable and it’s something that speaks of Father’s children. Yeshua tells us that you are the light of the world. So, you’ve got these lights that are made in heaven and the whole purpose of them is to give light to the earth. So that tells me two things. One is that He is in a sense comparing us, His children and those people who believe in Him and who follow Him to the stars in the sky that we can see. And I’m going to show you in the paleo in just a bit how cool and true that is.

The other thing that it tells me is that, you know, a lot of people take issue with creation and how when you look at the whole universe and the way modern astronomy sees it, it can’t be possible. They think that we are just some tiny little speck in the middle of a universe and we’re not the center of it.

There’s so much else going on. But what Father tells us right here is that all of the stuff that you can see, as far as you can see, it was all created for us. It was created to be light to us. So even if we’re not the perfect center of the universe, in a sense in Father’s mind, it was created for us. So that kind of makes us like the center of the universe

Carlos: Where He put us right where it worked for us.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen. So we might learn more later on and then when we go to City of GOD and talk with some of the prophets or see what Father wants to let us to know, but it’s amazing His creation.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: It’s the word for being amazed and being left stunned is “tamah”.

Dawson: Yeah, to be in wonder.

Carlos: To be in wonder. Wow, tamah.

Dawson: So, Yeshua tells us we’re the light of the world. We’ve got the lights in the heaven which are to make light, you know, to bring light on the earth. So that’s one instance where He’s in a sense comparing us to the stars in the heaven. And also, in the book of Daniel, it says, those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the raqia, of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever. So, in a couple different…

Carlos: The kokab.

Dawson: Yes, we’re going to talk about that word.

Carlos: Star.

Dawson: So, what I wanted to do next is to show you how the heavens, and if you look at the Paleo-Hebrew for the word heavens, which is “shamayim,” it’s a picture of Father’s children.

Carlos: I want to say something, but I would give it away.

Dawson: Yeah, it’s hurting him not to spoil. Yeah, I had to ask him if he could please not spoil it because the reason I don’t want him to spoil it is because when I put it on the board, you guys are going to get it. You’re going to actually – you’re going to solve a long-standing Bible mystery that a lot of scholars have not been able to solve.

Carlos: Amen. Now once we – if you notice here at Original Hebrew, you never hear us say we got it from this book or that book. If you notice, we debate, we study, we look at the words and we look into the matter. So, here’s kind of like new developments for your consideration.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yeah. So if you were to look up the word “shamayim” in like a Bible dictionary or concordance, you would see that people believe that “shamayim” derives from a lost word that’s not used anymore and that it is the plural form of this lost word that nobody knows what it means. But I’m going to show you and you’ll know what it means.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Okay. Okay. So, the goal here is for you guys watching to figure out what is this lost word, this lost root word that “shamayim” is the plural of.

Carlos: Now believe it or not, this is the third take because I always give it away.

Dawson: He keeps giving away the answer a bit too soon.

Carlos: I gave spoilers at the last two tries. So, let’s see.

Dawson: Yes. Maybe we’ll show that at the end of this episode. But I want you guys to see it because I think you’ll get it. And so first I’m going to show you just how plurals in Hebrew work. So, a couple examples. If you were to have the word “yam” for example. Yam means seas.

Carlos: That’s sea and …

Dawson: So this is one sea like one sea and then if you add this the suffix, so the yod, mem if you add it to the end of the word, it becomes …

Carlos: That’s many seas.

Dawson: Many seas. Okay. So one sea, many seas. Another word would be the word “am,” which means people. So, a single group of people. And if you add “im” at the end, now that’s plural. And now that word is peoples. I did my M like a Paleo M.

Carlos: She did a Paleo M.

Dawson: Yeah, I did. So one people, many peoples. One sea, many seas. To make something plural, just add “im”. Okay.

Carlos: Now back to “shamayim”.

Dawson: Yes, so let’s look at the word “shamayim” and it’s spelled like this. So this is what makes it plural, and what are we left with?

Carlos: Well, you have to guess first.

Dawson: So you’re left with “shem,” which many of you know, if you’ve watched the show, it means name.

Carlos: Amen. And those of you from the tribes of Judah or the lost tribes, you’re part of the Shem-im.

Dawson: So “shem” means name. So this word heavens, “shamayim,” it literally means the names. Now why would Father call the heavens the names?

Carlos: The names.

Dawson: Is the question.

Carlos: Boy, I could tell you why, but again, spoiler …

Dawson: No, you can spoil whatever you want from now on. Yes.

Carlos: Spoiler, spoiler.

Dawson: Yeah. So the answer to that …

Carlos: If you’re righteous and bring some to the Lord, you will shine like the stars. \

Dawson: You can spoil that one later. But first we’ll talk about “shamayim”. So there’s a hint to why the heavens are literally the names in Isaiah and the full answer is in the book of Enoch. But let me read what it says in Isaiah. It says, Isaiah 40:26, “Lift up your eyes on high and see who created these, He who brings out their host by number, calling them all by name.”

So this is Father talking about calling all of the stars by their shem, by their name.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: And we get a fuller understanding from the book of Enoch on why He calls the heavens the names. Enoch says, “And I saw the stars of heaven, and I saw how He called them all by their names.” Same as like …

Carlos: Every one.

Dawson: … Isaiah said, “And they listened to Him and I asked the angel who went with me and showed me what was hidden. What are these? And he said, ‘The Lord of Spirits has shown you a parable concerning them. These are the names of the holy who dwell on the earth and believe in the name of the Lord of Spirits forever and ever.’” Now the name of the Lord of Spirits is Yeshua. So if you believe in His name, then your name, your shem is represented in the “shamayim”.

Carlos: All the stars.

Dawson: Yes. So, one believer, one Shem, many believers, shamayim.

Carlos: Shamayim, perfect explanation with Father’s alphabet, amen?

Dawson: Yes. Now, there’s one more word that talks about Father’s children in the heavens that I wanted to show.

Carlos: Now, I want to make sure I don’t give a spoiler here.

Dawson: Let’s see how you do.

Carlos: Notice, Father’s children, when we teach you, we’re not getting it from books. It is from us studying, plenty of notes.

Dawson: Yes, and most importantly, I do think it’s from the Father giving us understanding.

Carlos: Just the pure language.

Dawson: Yeah, on these matters so that we could share it with you guys.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yeah. This is the word “kokab”, and in Hebrew – it’s the word for star. So this is a letter kaf, and in the original Hebrew it’s a picture of a palm of your hand. So kaf, hand. This is another kaf, another hand. And this is the letter beyt, which we’ve talked about before. It’s a picture of the house and it’s most commonly used in Hebrew words to mean in. So, what this word star, what it means is we’re in His hands.

Now Yeshua told you and told us that no one can snatch us from His hands and that’s something that He wanted us to know. The stars, the lights of the heaven are made to be a sign to you and they’re even named in a way that when we look at them, we can see that He cares for us.

Carlos: Amen. It’s hold, hold in Father’s house. Another way to look at it.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen. Like your name is the Book of Life, it’ll be held in the Father’s house.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen. So, hold, hold, Father’s house. Kokab.

Dawson: So each kokab, the kokabim, if you were to make it plural, that are in the shamayim, it’s showing us that He has us in his hands and our names, like Carlos is saying, our names are – He remembers our names and He puts our names in His Book of Life. He also talks about in the book of Revelation how he holds the angels in His hands. So, he talks about the seven spirits of God and how He has the seven. The seven spirits are the same as the seven stars.

Carlos: Kokab-im.

Dawson: Yes, and he holds them in His hands. If you could not – and this language is so obviously from Father, because you could not come up with a better way of saying, using these 22 letters in the Hebrew alphabet, of saying in His hands, then the word for stars, the kokab.

Carlos: And if we make it into Millennium, it’s like I’m looking forward to name someone, Koka, Kokaim, Kokabiel, I love that name.

Dawson: Yeah. He likes that name. I think that name got a little bit of a bad rap in –

Carlos: Enoch gave it a bad rap because that’s one of the fallen angels, Kokabiel. But we’re not celebrating that. I’m celebrating that Father has our names written in the stars. If you love Father, Yeshua is in your heart, the Holy Spirit is guiding you through life and He’s obviously leading you, you have a star named after you in the shamayim where our names are written.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: And speaking of the Kokabiel, I think one of the fallen angels is named Ezekiel. So, Ezekiel is a great prophet, a righteous man of God.

Carlos: And then so yeah, we don’t hold it against them. Now when the Father gave us a New Testament, the apostle wrote the best preacher was Apollyon.

Dawson: Apollos, yeah.

Carlos: Apollo is Apollyon.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: The devil, some people call him the devil. It doesn’t mean devil. It’s a mythological top god, Apollyon. But yet, Father didn’t tell him to change their name. Now your heart is clean, it doesn’t matter.

Dawson: Right. So, one more word I wanted to show you and if you’ve watched our Paleo-Hebrew Alphabet Series, you’ve seen this word before, but that is the word kabod, which means glory. And I wanted to talk about this because we know from the scriptures that the heavens, the shamayim, declare the glory of God. And you, as Father’s children, you are part of His glory.

Carlos: Every time we praise His name, we say hallelujah.

Dawson: Yeah, so the word glory, kabod, this is the kaf, again the hand, the beyt, which means in, and this letter is the letter dalet, which means door gates. So, whatever is in your hand within your gates, so essentially in your property, it’s your kabod. This word kabod, it’s translated as glory, but it’s also translated as wealth. So, anything that makes up part of your – how would you say that?

Carlos: Your humble kabod.

Dawson: Your humble kabod. Yeah. It’s the entire wealth of your house and if you’re Father’s – if you’re a parent and somebody asks you what’s in your house, probably the first thing that comes to mind is, “Well, my kids.”

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: So what’s in Father’s house? His kids. We are part of His glory and the heavens declare the glory of God. They declare what’s in Father’s house and what’s in Father’s house are the names of His children.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: That he holds in His hand.

Carlos: Hence, shamayim, has our names that declare His glory and they will be in this house.

Dawson: Yes. Amen.

Carlos: Amen. What a wonderful alphabet He has for us.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yes.

Carlos: It’s amazing when we hear the word “shamayim”. It’s a beautiful-sounding word, but now we know our names are there. the living, those among the living who are His children. Shamayim. What a wonderful, wonderful name.

Dawson: Yeah. David says, “When I consider his shamayim, His heavens, the work of His fingers, the moon and the kokabim, the stars which He has established, what is man that you are mindful of Him?”

Carlos: Right, in the middle of all the creation.

Dawson: Yeah, He thinks of us and He cares for us.

Carlos: But here we are. He does what he wants.

Dawson: Yeah. So going on with just to wrap up the fourth day and we’ll end it there, Moses writes, “And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and it was so. And God made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also, and God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth and to rule over the day and over the night and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good, and the evening and the morning were the fourth day.”

Carlos: He saw it was tov.

Dawson: Tov.

Carlos: And the evening.

Dawson: The ereb.

Carlos: And the morning.

Dawson: Boqer.

Carlos: Boqer was the what day?

Dawson: The fourth yom.

Carlos: The fourth yom. Now notice in every case he starts with the evening and the morning. Now when we get to Father’s land and we’re going back to His land, we’re going to have to get used to that. Amen. Over here it’s the other way around, but over there it’s the evening and the morning and that will be the first day.

Dawson: Yeah.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Yeah. So that’s it for this one. Next time around we’re going to talk about maybe the dinosaurs.

Carlos: In the day when He created birds.

Dawson: Yes, we have a theory.

Carlos: Hatanan, Hagolan.

Dawson: Hagadol.

Carlos: Hagadol. Wow, that should tell you something, giant birds.

Dawson: Well, okay.

Carlos: And He also says tannin.

Dawson: Yeah, the tanninim. So now I’m spoiling things. Now, okay.

Carlos: At least you know what’s coming up.

Dawson: That’s it. That’s it.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Shalom everybody. See you next time.

Carlos: Amen.

Dawson: Shalom to Jerusalem.

Carlos: Shalom to Jerusalem.

Dawson: Amen.

Word “shamayim”. The first letter is “shin” and the second letter is mem.

Carlos: Shem.

Dawson: Ah, no.

Carlos: Too much of a spoiler alert? Come on. Okay. Okay, cut.

Dawson: Cut.
