Transcript:
In the days before the flood, there were angels and men and women who had corrupted themselves and who had corrupted our Father’s creation. And so, He determined at that time that He was going to have to destroy His creation through a great flood. What you’re about to see in these next few verses is that as our Father is judging the world with this great flood, He was also making plans to restore all things.
We’re going to back up so that you can pick up the timing of what He’s talking about. In chapter 10, Father instructed His angel Michael to bind the fallen angels for 70 generations until the day of their judgment. And we showed last time around how the day of their judgment happens at Yeshua’s return.
So, the rest of these instructions to Michael that we’re about to read together, they are a prophecy of what’s coming when Yeshua returns. Verse 15, Father says to Michael, “And destroy all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of the Watchers because they have wronged mankind.” Now earlier we read how Father told Gabriel to destroy the reprobate and the children of the watchers, and that this destruction would happen as a result of them killing each other off.
But what He’s talking about here in this verse is the future destruction of not their flesh, but of their spirits. We’re going to read in the next few chapters in Enoch about how even though the flesh of the Nephilim, the offspring of the angels and mankind, even though their flesh was destroyed back in the days before the flood, Father allowed their spirits to remain on earth and those spirits turned into what we know of as evil spirits, AKA demons.
So, if you’ve ever wondered where do demons come from, the demons are the spirits of the Nephilim. And we’ll talk about that more in a future episode. But just know for now that when Yeshua comes, He’s going to destroy the demons.
And that’s one reason why you read in the New Testament, there’s a demon talking to Yeshua, and he says something along the lines of, “Have you come to destroy us before the time?” The demons know that their day of destruction is not yet, because it was prophesied through Enoch. When Yeshua comes back again, that will be the time of their destruction. Continuing in verse 15, Father’s words to Michael, “Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth, and let every evil work come to an end, and let the plant of righteousness and truth appear, and it shall prove a blessing.”
Down the line, you’re going to see how the plant of righteousness is actually a name for Yeshua. So, what this verse is talking about is the day when Yeshua appears in the clouds. He’s going to appear, and it will prove to be a blessing, and the works of righteousness and truth from that day forward shall be planted in truth and joy forevermore.
“And then shall all the righteous escape, and shall live till they beget thousands of children, and all the days of their youth and their old age shall they complete in peace.” Our escape is when Father delivers us from tribulation, and that happens when Yeshua returns. When it says we will live until we have thousands of children, that is speaking of those who enter Millennium alive.
So those who are righteous and who are in Christ, who have passed away by that time, are not going to be having kids. But those of us who are alive in the flesh, when we get to millennium, we’re going to have thousands of descendants, is what it’s talking about here. And all the days of our youth and our old age shall we complete, be-shalom, in peace.
When I ran across the words “old age” in this verse here, it made me pause, because I know that in Millennium, we are not going to be subject to aging in the way that we are now. Old age, as we know it now, means an increase in aches and pains and constant decay of the body. And that’s not something that we’re going to experience in Millennium, because we’re going to have new bodies in Millennium.
And so, we’re just not going to be subject to those things anymore. So, I wondered, what are the original words for old age here? And what I found was pretty cool, so I wanted to share it with you here. In the ancient Ethiopian manuscripts of the Book of Enoch, the word that gets translated as old age is actually the Ethiopian word “sanbat” and in the Greek manuscripts, the word is “sabbata”. I don’t know if you can tell by the sounds of those words, but in each of those languages, those words mean sabbaths. So, what this verse is actually saying is, all the days of our youth and our sabbaths shall we complete in peace.
It was always Father’s intention for the men and women that He created to live in peace and that is what He is going to restore as part of His return. That is what we have to look forward to in millennium, is living, be-shalom, in peace.
In the Book of Acts, we read, “Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of THE LORD, and that He may send the anointed one appointed for you, Yeshua, whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets long ago.” One of the holy prophets who spoke about this time of restoration is Enoch, and those words are what we are reading about right now.
So, continuing in chapter 10, verse 18, Father says, “And then shall the whole earth be tilled in righteousness, and shall all be planted with trees and be full of blessing. And all desirable trees shall be planted on it, and they shall plant vines on it. And the vine which they plant thereon shall yield wine in abundance. And as for all the seed which is sown thereon, each measure of it shall bear a thousand, and each measure of olives shall yield ten presses of oil.”
So, the picture that Father is giving us here is of abundance, for very minimal effort, which is the opposite of what we see today as a result of the curse that came in the Garden of Eden. Now the curses that came in the Garden of Eden have to do with enmity between the seed of the devil and the seed of women. We read about that in Genesis 3. So, when the demons get destroyed at Judgment Day, and the seed of the devil is completely eradicated from our lives, then that curse is lifted.
Another curse from Eden is that women would have to experience pain and painful labor as part of being able to bear children. So not just pain at childbirth, but you have pain throughout your life because you’re someone who is able to have children. But in these days that are coming, Father says that the righteous are going to live until they beget thousands of descendants.
That is the reversal of the curse of Eden that was put on childbirth. And what we see here in verse 19 is the reversal of the curse that was put on the ground for Adam’s sake, because Adam sinned. When Father created the earth, it was supposed to be abundant for mankind with minimal effort.
But a curse was placed on the ground so that man from that point forward has to eat through the sweat of his brow. So, you have to do things today that tire you out in order to survive. But the days are coming when that curse will be lifted, and you will plant vines on the earth, and the vine which you plant will yield wine in abundance.
And the seed that you sow, a measure of it shall bear a thousand, and each measure of olives shall yield ten presses of oil. There’s another translation where it says instead of ten presses of oil, it says ten baths of oil. And just to get an idea of how abundant and how blessed the land is going to be in these days, I did look up for us what is a bath of oil, and it turns out that a bath is six gallons.
So, what this sounds like to me is, grab a handful of olives, and you’ll end up with 60 gallons of oil. Father is trying to communicate to you that this will be a time of extreme blessing. Enoch is not the only prophet that talks about the abundant blessing of these days.
The prophet Amos said, “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed, and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.”
In the Book of Joel, in chapter two, Father talks quite a bit about what it’s going to be like in Millennium. And part of what He says is that we will eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord our God.
Zechariah says that the seed shall be prosperous, the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their due, and I will cause the remnants of this people to possess all these things. When I was younger, and I read words like this about blessing the land, and an increase in crops, and things like that, it didn’t mean very much to me. And that’s because I grew up in a big city.
And if you want food, you go to the supermarket, you don’t grow food. And a lot of what Father has to talk about as it relates to our future is the inheritance that He wants to give us. He says that we’re going to inherit the earth. And the concept of inheritance didn’t use to mean much to me either. It only started making sense when I was able to leave the city, and come up here to the mountains. Because it was here where I am now that I started having a desire to have land, because I, for the first time, am seeing how beautiful Father’s land is, or how beautiful it can be. You guys, if you’re listening, and you’re His, and He’s your father, and you’re His children, you’re going to have your own beautiful piece of land and it’s going to produce a bunch of stuff that’s going to make you satisfied one day.
And these things are coming soon. So, the time to get excited about it is now. I try as much as possible to film Father’s beauty for you because I want you to think about the inheritance that’s coming, and how beautiful it will be. As beautiful as it is up here, this is nothing compared to what’s coming.
Verse 20, “And cleanse thou the earth from all oppression, and from all unrighteousness, and from all sin, and from all godlessness, and all the uncleanness that is wrought upon the earth, destroy from off the earth. And all the children of men shall become righteous. And all nations shall offer adoration, and shall praise me, and all shall worship me.”
Now why is this important? It’s not because Father just wants a drone army to worship Him. But think about the characteristics of people who worship God. Because our God is just, and all of His ways are just and those who praise our Father, and who worship Him, we strive to be just. And we strive to do good to each other. So, in those days, you’re going to be surrounded by people who actually listen to Father. Now whether they all love Father is another thing because we do know that in Millennium, there are going to be people who sin. But the judges in those days, the government in that day, the ones who are overseeing things, and policing things, if you could put it that way, they’re all doing it on behalf of and as a representative of Father who is just. So, it’s going to be a better earth and the ones who are on that earth, whether they love Father or not, they are going to listen to him.
Continuing with verse 21, “And the earth shall be cleansed from all defilement, and from all sin, and from all punishment, and from all torment and I will never again send them upon it from generation to generation and forever. And in those days, I will open the store chambers of blessing, which are in the heaven, so as to send them down upon the earth over the work and labor of the children of men. And truth and peace shall be associated together throughout all the days of the world, and throughout all the generations of men.”
And with that, we have finished Father’s initial words of judgment. And I say initial words, because He will have more to say very shortly after these fallen angels try to send Enoch to negotiate with Father on their behalf. As you might imagine, it’s not going to work. But we will take a look at that part of the story next time.
